Default installation troubles :(

Hi all, i recently picked up a refurbished dell optiplex 740 for EqEmu. I used the same Eq titanium to install as i did 4 years ago when i last played on eqemu. I followed the instructions and even installed winEQ. However when i installed the EQemu launcher i got a application error of "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc000135)." HALP!!

update: i got onto the login page through the eq shortcut trick, but now once i enter login info i get "error : a timeout occured" what does that normally mean?
update: i'm on thanks!

Same problem here. Can't get EQ to run at all. Tech guides don't help much for some of this stuff.
