Default Turbo-charged Raptors?

Raptors in Timorous Deep are outrunning jboots speed now.

They also roam really quickly now.

Is this working as intended with the pathing fixes? Are they intended to outrun jboots? The patch notes did not mention them specifically.

Thanks for looking into this.

That video about sums up my first pull. It was horrifying. Gnome bits everywhere.

Either that or the Jboots movement speed seem very slow. I was still able to outrun a spiroc, though. But I'm not sure if Win 7 is causing some problems on the spell side. The first time I copied the spells over it got stuck at 0 bytes per second in the copying. Have since updated twice with seeming success.

Raptors are WAY faster than they used to be. They run very near SoW speed now and you have to run away for about 10 minutes to get far enough away to snare them. Even doing this they just about get to you while casting snare at max range. I can confirm I quaded raptors on live and it was never this difficult. I am wondering if this change was intentional. Jboots aren't slower I don't think, but not fast enough to quad raptors anymore.

Are they warping in the water or reaching too far while in the water?

These fuckers moved pretty quick from my memory killing them on live.

Tiger mobs also run way too fast now.

They are not warping at all. They just run really close to sow speed now. The margin of error is so slim now that 1 slightly wrong turn or bad angle and you are dead. Also even snared they run way faster than they used to. Still no word on whether this was intentional or not? Very curious as the intent has always been to make this server as classic as possible and I don't think there has been any evidence that they ran this fast when Kunark was released, but I didn't play until Velious.

I tried to do a little research reading through the comments on Alla, but these are from 2004. There is nothing there indicating they run extra fast(just the high aggro range which was already correct on this server). In this post he even indicates you can quad them without pulling to chessboard which I believe would be impossible for anyone on p1999 server now. Please fix this back to how it was in classic as between the AC nerf and this run speed it is nearly impossible to quad these now without dying on a regular basis.
