Raid Bosses Immune to me Lifetaps!!!
I know this was added because of the ivandyr hoops a long while ago...
But now hoops are super nerfed (crazy expensive to get, can't recharge them). So.... can you unbreak lifetaps? Even my bond of death isn't able to land on raid targets... This is crazy, since lifetaps and bond should be the least resisted magic spells there are (with a natural -200 magic resist!!). How can necromancers even heal themselves in battle against raid targets?! This is a core part of us.....

Well this is a good question. I've always heard that lifetaps don't land because of hoops, but I wonder to what extend this is true. As far as I know many raidmobs are just straight up magic immune (vox, naggy, kunark outdoor dragons, etc). In those cases, the -200 mod won't help you. As far as I know, lifetaps land just fine on anything that isn't magic immune, including nexona and those velious targets that we know aren't magic immune (those that are slowable, basically).
So I wonder whether the classic explanation hoops and lifetaps really tells the whole story. Perhaps classic and kunark mobs actually just had super high MR, so that only something with a huge mod like -200 ever had any chance to land, and the p99 devs decided to go with just blanket immunity instead, to prevent hoops from trivializing certain things. Either way, I am curious whether there's any evidence of lifetaps landing on any classic or kunark raid targets. That's certainly where you'd have to start if you want the devs to revisit this in any way.
