Default frame freezing and patch.

when the latest patch came down my computer bugged. How, well as I was loading it would freeze , or just plain throw me out of eq. I reinstalled and now am getting missing Global load (766880433) .
I truly love this game it's why I came back, but aside from that I also lost equipment last check in. Any help please, ill check back in couple days if not i'm done with this game. So tired of having to reload(9 times no less in one month). Not all of us are gurus with computers. thanks in advance.

What operating system are you using? You should do a fresh install of titanium and then copy the entire everquest folder to your desktop. Keep the default install as a backup and only update and play the copy on your desktop. Make sure you follow the patch instructions and overwrite/replace the files/folders when copying the patch files. WinEq2 can help with some common errors/crashes. Running eqgame.exe in compatibility mode can also help. As for lost items you will need to post in the petition forum.

Can you take a picture of the error?

Also, do you have it installed on a Solid State Drive or a Hard Drive?

Make sure everquest is not running and then follow the steps below.

1. Download and unzip the latest patch file.
2. Open patch folder to see the many files and folders.
3. Select all of those files and folders.
4. Copy the files and folders using ctrl+c or from the folder menu.
5. Paste the files and folders into your main everquest folder using ctrl+v or from the folder menu.
6. Make sure that you select overwrite/replace files and folders when prompted. If you don't get a prompt then you are in the wrong folder.

You should keep a backup copy of a fresh titanium install folder somewhere. Then make a copy of your everquest folder and place it on your desktop. Update and play the copy on your desktop.
