Practicing research as necro
Hello,
could anyone give me some tips on how to practice your research skill as an iksar necro other than using training points? Thanks!

I'll leave that here:
http://wiki.project1999.com/Research Scroll down to practice runes. The reason nobody is doing it is that all recipes need dropped components, so you need to farm them. But maybe that's ok for you?

I'm pretty sure it's still cheaper to use points.

Researched spells bought can be even cheaper. You'll find (at least I did) that once you research your own spells once that you stand no chance of making that plat back in EC.
I'd post up on the trading forums for the spells you need, unless its part of character development you want to do [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Most people don't want to dedicate bank space for "skill up" research words, so you'll probably have a hard time... even collecting just the research-only words, Visko has 3 handmade packs full. From 130+ I believe you're paying around ~25p and up per skill point, which is probably what you'd pay if you can even find them.
If you need any words/combines, give me a PM or hollar in game. I bought Visko up to 170 skill after being unable to find anyone with a comparable level.

Yeah, I just spammed trainer points into Research. I only save the research only spell components.

I played a Druid pretty much exclusively on live at lvl 60, think my highest necro was like 10. Gotta learn researching from scratch.
