Game Mechanics: Bellycasting Doesnt Exist and it should

This video is from the Blue server but all P99 servers run same patches.

Fire giants function just like this on all servers and bellycasting is currently broken.

Its a classic “raid” mechanic making things much tougher to debuff and CC requiring a bellycast. Stuff too trivial without.

I see a lot of bumps here, but I'd imagine evidence would be more persuasive. You probably know that, but I figured I'd state the obvious just in case, since there isn't any and the devs rarely make changes without it.

The evidence is any fire giant in classic Everquest ever, cmon...this is NOT normal behavior.

This worked for almost 9 years and just bc it was broken does not mean it should require evidence to return to its 'normal' state which is a widely experienced Classic Mechanic.

I can dig up some quotes later but seems unnecessary.

I don't think anyone's actually debating this, it's something that was functioning normally and then broken when they tried to fix mana drain/regen issues on raid targets. For a while unresistable spells such as bind sight were being resisted from range on belly casters, which was not correct. FTE messages were going off from the entrance to zones, etc. Then it was "fixed" ...by disabling belly casting completely.
