october 99 he is on the eqatlas
http://web.archive.org/web/199910092...ww.eqatlas.com but other parts of the ivy quest NPC's are NOT mentioned May 99 on the atlas http://web.archive.org/web/199905081...ww.eqatlas.com So one would assume that ivy and most of the NPC's got added later, during the Tempel of Ro patch. same patch that changed Jboots from mob drop to quest: As mentioned on Saturday, Rubicite armor will no longer spawn. The new class specific quests to obtain the new armor are now in for each class that could wear Rubicite. (this includes Rangers) http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/19991013.html

Sol Ro quests added a ton of new named.
There were never two named Griffon in NK before that patch adding Ivy etched, it makes no sense esp since Grimfeather has no loot unlike Callowing who drops magical Griffon flavor items. Grimfeather is a quest mob and the quest isnt in game so its highly likely he shouldnt be here.

Found on wayback machine of everlore. https://web.archive.org/web/20000510...show&BID=59589. they do list his drop as ivy quest item but does not rule out him being around before this.
