Default SK 2-Handed Slash which of these 3 to buy?

Reaver, Argent Protector, or Di'zok Imperial Katana ?

which of these would you save for before going after Epic?

2hb option?

Depends on your budget, but IMHO I'd say Argent Protector. Good stats for all the hybrids that can wield it, AC, and unlike Reaver it's Magic, so it can hurt certain enemies that Reaver cannot.

Personally though, starting at 50 I would consider this:
https://wiki.project1999.com/Zealot%...arnadine_Sword

The ratio is slightly better at 50 than the numbers show because of Bonus damage, and the proc is good for health upkeep in combat. It's a good placeholder until epic or a quested PoSky sword, or, even better, have it as a swap to trigger Soul Bond, then switch back to Argent Protector or Reaver to maintain an optimal ratio with life drain on the side.

Reaver all day. Works great for most mobs, and the magic thing isn’t a big deal, plenty of cheap weapons if you need something else in a group. If you’re nearing maxing str enjoy hitting for 200+ in the 40s. It also works on any mob in the hole, including undead.

avarantor, have you considered this?

https://wiki.project1999.com/Deathbringer%27s_Rod

Not only is it a solid 2-hander with a 0.75 ratio, but it's dirt cheap. You can probably find one for free if you just ask in EC, no more than 100p max.

Reaver. There aren't really that many mobs it can't hit.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! Loadsamoney, I do have the Deathbringer's Rod as a matter of fact. It's a very nice, and cheap 2hb! I would also recommend it. Looking to upgrade my 2 handed slash right now.

I'll start watching the trading post, and see if I can get some EC Tunnel time in this week.

Thanks again for all the suggestions [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I too use Reaver. Sword of Pain in my scabbard and Clay Guardian Shield slinged in case I need magic or lose slam.
