well, I was typing a bug request, then investigated a bit more... to see that this was likely working as expected. seen how the warrens were crowded on live I'm a bit surprised to see no mention of this on zam... nor have I found any significant changes on the patch notes. unlimited duration disease is clearly OP and not wanted but there's no tidbit indicating if Disease was unlimited or not in 2001. so no reason to post a bug but I still had to share that [You must be logged in to view images. Just don't post a bug without overwhelming supporting evidence. Daldaen will get angry at you...but he'll do it in a way that you won't know about it.

Got rabies on my alt wiz in Oasis the other day. Rather than interact with others in the zone I got my HP down below the level of my worn HP gear and zoned clearing all buffs/debuffs.

But yeah classic mechanic talk to someone that can cure it.

I thought the ridiculous duration of disease was half the fun of going into the kurns basement. Not everybody is willing to slaughter those filthy disgusting burynai indiscriminately but I was.

lol imo OP was not complaining but was confirming fact. p99 recreates the magic. and the insane pita.

If you have played on this server (or on live back in the day) and not had more than one night where you have gone, "OMG THIS GAME CAN DIE DIE DIE" you haven't had the genuine eq experience.

Rabies. God does that suck. It sucked so bad on live when you were a newb and weren't able to travel to get a cure. So you logged out. And then came back next night. And it was still there. KHAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!
