Default Bag in the hand

Anyone know why my secondary/range item always defaults to look like a bag in my hand?
I have the *Kromzek Surveyor Scope* slotted
Thanks

Do you mean as a lore reasoning or coding or what?

Non-weapon ranged items pretty much always look like a bag, because it's what it would look like if you dropped it on the ground.

You can switch to your primary weapon graphic by clicking on your primary item (so you unequip it) and then equip it again.

That's a client function. If wield-able item isn't assigned a graphic, it defaults to the bag appearance. The Scope is among those items which lacks a specific graphic.
