Default Druid Charming on Teal

Coming from TLP servers charming is a big thing. How are the charm mechanics or druids here? Similar?

Don't know about TLP servers, but charming is straight forward. You charm the thing and then you command it (without a pet window, need to make those macros). If you charm stuff close to your level it will break often.

With no pet window you will need to make some macro commands.

The pet commands are:
/pet health Gives health percentage.
/pet guard Tells the pet to stand still
/pet backoff Tells the pet to disengage target
/pet attack Tells the pet to attack

Don’t think there’s anymore commands you will need besides those.

/pet follow is a good one - basically turns off /pet guard.
/pet sit is sometimes useful, either to let your pet regen faster or to cause it to take damage faster (not sure this works very well, but it might)

You can also make a macro for the big 4 (attack, back, follow, guard) and in each of those macros, put /pet health. That way you sort of accidentally do /pet health all the time.

Can also put /pet back at the begining of attack macro, so it auto disengages and attacks your target every time.
