Default Spell Graphic Changes

All of us P99ers love looking forward to new spells. Getting that next level heal, that bigger nuke, that stronger pet...

One thing I'll never forget, is the excitement for spell graphic changes.

The first one occurs at 24. My wimpy root now looks like a swarm of green sparkles as I lock down a mob. Those of you that remember the level transition should remember when your spells get a significant particle upgrade.

My question to you is, when is the second one? I remember on live that there were two upgrades. If I remember correctly, the second one occurred at 50. Although to be honest, I thought the first one occurred at 25 (but I was pleasantly surprised).

Can anyone confirm at what level your spell particles change?

Thank you

I am not sure but I remember back 2000 my friend edited the Fear spell to look like a bunch of Micheal Jackson faces instead of the skulls. It was very funny.

Really? It's that early? Somehow I thought it was much higher.

Wow seems like this isn't common knowledge. So far I've heard 39, 44, 49 and 50.

Someone MUST know :P

It was 25/50 for awhile on this server but it was fixed to the 24/39 which is classic. I forget what expansion they converted it to 25/50 I think it was either Luclin or PoP.

Official answer is 24 / 39. Not sure how this isn't common knowledge but... There's a decent thread stickied in tech discussion, called classic spell effects.
