Game Mechanics: Can't /who me

My character is named Telepo and if me or anyone else tries to do /who Telepo or /who all Telepo I don't show up. I do show up in the general /who for the zone. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to fix this.

Do you show up in any other /who commands? Guild or friend? Has it been like this forever? I'd try to toggle on/off the /anon and /role feature a couple of times.

Some names are like that(usually it seems to be shorter, 4 letter names though). Only fix I've heard is having people add you to their friends list. Then /who all friends will pick you up.
