Default Figured I’d share a thing

I figured this out around a year ago. I’m not sure if it’s common knowledge but I figured I should share it.

If you cast scale of the wolf on yourself it drops if you cast any spell or attack.

If you cast scale of the wolf on a pet (summoned or charmed) it will have a 70% run speed for 45 minutes and doesn’t wear off if it attacks or does a thing.

I remember killing hill giants on my bard in Rathe Mountains at 39, and I saw Petrifin spawn. It turns out he's level 40. I tried charming a giant to take him out but he was higher level and fast. I didn't feel like dotting him etc, so I decided to run for the Lake Rathe zone from the giant hill area. Mind you, I was level 39 and I had mistmoore drums, so that means I was running at 113.4% normal run speed. When I got close to the Rathe zone line, I figured I'd turn around and see how far away he was. The fucker was like 40 virtual feet away, I couldn't believe it. That guy might run FASTER than Scale of Wolf. I'd love to know what speed effect he has. Lower levels beware, you're not likely to outrun him =D
