Bugs that aren't gamebreaking, aren't a huge inconvenience, and get patched shortly add character to the game.

Imagine if boats launched +1000 /loc on into the air before zoning...

You are right. Let quests give exp for 30 full days, then patch that bug. Faction only quests just like in classic.
