Default Each class to each race

If you had to pair each class to each race what would you do (with one double up for the different class/race ratio)?

I personally did this:

Barbarian - Rogue
Dark Elf - Cleric
Dwarf - Paladin
Erudite - Wizard
Gnome - Magician
Half-Elf - Bard
Halfling - Druid
High Elf - Enchanter
Human - Warrior
Iksar - Monk/Necromancer
Ogre - Shaman
Troll - Shadowknight
Wood Elf - Ranger

I did a somewhat "best race" for the class. Looking back I probably could have switched druid and warrior as human and halfling for the sneak and hide utility. What would you all do?

I can't resist puzzles.

Iksar - Monk/Necromancer: clearly correct and an easy starting point; the master race doubles up.

Ogre - Shadowknight / Troll - Shaman: Another obvious matchup, but I think it makes more sense to switch these. Both classes benefit from both abilities, but Shaman get constant value from regen and stun immunity only helps when tanking. Meanwhile SKs are constantly casting spells in the face of the enemy, and it keeps them alive when FD splitting.

Dark Elf - Wizard: hide is fantastic for an AFK quadding class.

Halfling - Cleric: now that sneak pulling is gone, I think cleric gains the most from sneak/hide. You can CR in Veeshan's Peak! And it's the Powergamer's Choice!

Gnome - Warrior: Gnomes have surprisingly decent Warrior stats, and the clockwork clickies are great for the zero-utility warrior class. With Stunning Kick at 55, Barbarians don't really stand out here, so while Iksar or Ogre are the real min/max choices Gnome is sneaky good.

At this point we've dealt all of the special abilities, so it's just a matter of matching the rest up:

Erudite - Magician: because I played one on live
Barbarian - Rogue
Dwarf - Paladin
Half-Elf - Bard
High Elf - Enchanter
Human - Ranger
Wood Elf - Druid: better than Wood Elf Ranger/Human Druid as now both get Hide

My signature + the following

Monk = Iksar, going to use the double up here

Paladin = dwarf

Shadowknight = troll

Ranger = half elf

Warrior = halfling
