Its all about the raptors as soon as you can kill them. You probably need sow pots because Jboots don't really cut it, they're fast even in the water when you're levitating and 4 of them will get you good.

I had such a jolly time on blue with a 50's druid leveling up before red launched. Raptors were a lot of fun but I was charming them, which is dangerous too but druids have a lot more tools.

Jboots are enough for raptors, it’s just a bit tighter. Use lev and take out the turns on the water.

The problem with raptors is fivefold
1) Bad ZEM
2) No loot, like at all almost
3) Often camped (true for most spots tho)
4) Long trek to TD even with Abscond
5) Rare named spawn that ruins your spot

Unless you have very good gear wait until 52 because resists will ruin your day.

If you're an evil Wizard, there's enough of a level spread where BB dwarves can take you to 60. The ones at the dock gate are level 45 and still blue to a level 60. Though those are always camped too, I'm sure.

Why don’t wizards quad in the hole or in CoM?

I did Raptors from 54-58 on live back in the day. Need jboots or sow pots. Good times all around.

Wait for the ice floes to Velious to clear out a bit (can't be long now?) and do wyverns in CS.
