Those of us who played everquest back when everquest was fresh love the idea of a classic everquest. Everquest was ground zero for the next twenty years of the MMO market. That's my perception, anyway, and p99 bills itself to that revolution...

I wouldn't mind if the GMs left the mechanics alone and made themselves characters, created a narrative, or became involved in the community in the 'roleplaying' sense. Tell us a story, turn us a page...

Root the dragons (that would actually make it just like classic was) and for custom stuff rotating zems, lfg tool, raid window tool lets make it happen!

Unfortunately the children who never learned how to play with others seem to eat up all of our GM/Guide time, but it certainly would be nice (and classic) to have SOE-style GM events on Blue.

I'd also be 100% down for in-game custom quests involving staff characters. After all, they're already in-game in the Plane of Sky:

Why not just turn on the guild management tool in game? For that matter, if we want new content, why not just open Luclin?

Custom content seems like a terrible idea, and great way to ruin the server.
You realize that they have to program the server code for all of this right? It not like they just flip a switch and turn on the expansion. A absolute ton of work was put into this.
