Hey, if Mueller's report comes out and it exonerates Trump I'll eat crow. But I find the likelihood extremely low. At best he was completely ignorant that everyone around him was a criminal and collaborating with a foreign government to alter the course of our elections. To do what exactly? You may or may not have been following the recent trial of a certain drug overlord, but if you had you'd know that Mexico's biggest drug kingpin smuggled all of his drugs not through the "gaps" in the border, but through the "protected" parts (in turns out some border patrol agents can be bribed with large sums of money: who could have guessed?)

Ya so this means they should just open the borders shut down border security all together and just let them flow in !! why have border security at all!? if a few can be bribed! Heck guy's think of all the money that would be saved on patrolling the southern border! That money could be spent on Millennial infrastructure that could save lives.

No, it just means we should live in reality and not in fantasy land.

And in reality, building a giant 2k mile-long wall (do you have any idea how freakishly large of an area we are talking about here?) is a terrible waste of a staggeringly large amount money, that won't actually solve any problems (or at least won't solve problems worth even a small fraction of how much it costs).

The only people who support the wall are people who are both ignorantly fearful of all things foreign and stupid enough to think a wall is a good idea. Even the rest of the ignorantly fearful people are smart enough to want modern technological solutions to border security.
