velious wolf models

Hi all not sure if this is right area but would be my best guess. I didn't start playing eq until luclin era and don't ever recall seeing this particular model in game. Perhaps someone who played during velious era can answer? This is the only screenshot i've seen, it's on alla for Icehackle in western wastes. Was this model used for all velious wolves at one point ? or just this named? It's been neat seeing the original wolves so far in game, as the only ones i am familiar with are the luclin era looking ones. Would be interesting to know if we might happen to see this model eventually in game. Thanks for all the hard work

Yes. We had a 3-4 page thread about this a while back trying to find evidence for each individual wolf model in Velious.

The one pictured above will be there in Velious.

i def dont remember those models either but could be because i didnt really play velious much till the end and then luclin came out.

UGLY!

hated it when they changed the shm pet wolf model to the see thru version. luclin wolf has terrible animation; Even spastic joey had better dance moves than that thing!

All the wolves in Velious should be working as intended. Most zones have dire wolf models, but some (growthplane) feature the older model.
