Default Reclaim Energy on Teal/Green

Not sure where to find release notes but back in the pre-velious days I believe Reclaim Energy always gave back 100% of the mana used to create the pet regardless of the current pet health.

Maybe this is considered an intentional difference/fix ... Just thought it was useful to share.

post from 5/15/1999 Everlore Archive

"The mana exchange rate does not seem to be very high, as I've never noticed a real increase in mana after using this spell on my pet. Useful mostly for letting your pet go gracefully when you zone or camp (otherwise it kills itself for 32000 damage)."

Other post in found through link diving show similar results at later dates the exchange rate was low.

One more post:

2/10/2000

"Apperently no one understands the usefulness of this spell. At higher levels (12 up) conjuring a pet takes roughly half your mana. If the pet is to weak, you reclaim it and gain a little less than half of the mana back. When you solo, the strength of your pet is very important."

I believe this was a retro change the devs here did a while back as people were using reclaim to get FM without meditating. Specialize conjuration made summoning a pet cost less mana while the reclaim would grant the total listed mana cost of the spell back. Also pet classes can easily chain summon pets with this, which trivialized certain raid encounters.

Pet canni was classic but no one did it until SCM3, quick summoning, elemental pact, focus items, horses and spec conjure. With that it was very, very good. I don't see how you could get a useful amount of mana back with just spec 10% preservation. Even getting 100% of mana back, you'd go through a ton of malachite for slightly better than meditate.

Specialize conjuration.
Specialization shouldn't be in-game yet I think.
