You seem to have quite a hardon for hating the military. Yes the military is very collectivist, because the purpose of the military is to fight and win wars.

Deciding who should get medical treatment or emergency fema resources after a hurricane is quite different than rallying a unified objective in a military context.

I'm not asking you to, I'm asking what you think good policy is after a hurricane. I think most people, including you, would say "put out the house that is currently on fire". Kamala seems to think otherwise, or at least pretends she does.
