EQ has a lot of "fantasy racism" in it. Elves hate orcs; dwarves hate ogres; barbarians and erudites tolerate each other but value different things (strength & stamina vs intellect) and aren't the best of friends.

The problem is the sheer number of people who can't distinguish "fantasy" racism from RL racism; who think that the reason you're overcharging them is that you the player want an excuse to do so instead of playing a character.

And Ramal you need to shut up, but you never will.

Ramal literally every 5 posts has some shit to say about cornbread, basketball or watermelon. You all kept Phil's dumb, racist ass this whole time. Consider me extra surprised that you all don't want to be remembered as a minstrel show.

lmao the game was made by humans with access to the historical context of blackness, and so do its players. Explicitly playing only males of a black race and pretending that it exists only in the context of a game world is intellectually dishonest at best and ignorant at worst.
