This doesn't account for the character names. But there is no dark elf equivalent IRL, except maybe that guy who drank colloidal silver. This was about as subtle as an all white elf guild named Felwithe Power. You can wriggle and squirm excuses out left and right, but the allusion was made. Everyone picked up on it.

If they used a little nuance and named their guild Norrathian Allied Alliance of Cool People, there may not have been an issue. Then they could have played the reverse racism card and call everyone racist for not thinking Erudites are cool.

Is it okay to laugh at low int characters and okay to roleplay them? Just checking in with the community.

If someone created a guild named "Felwithe Power" and they were paladins, clerics and wizards who all worshipped Tunare, I'm sorry, but rational, NORMAL people wouldn't equate that name to White Power
