@Rogean I imagine you've already thought of this, and you haven't done it for some very good reason ... but if not, have you ever considered making a URL redirect to the latest patch? In other words, if you setup a URL like "www.project1999.com/patch/latest", in whatever server manages the domain (Apache? Nginx?), then it might make things a lot easier because all documentation everywhere could just point to the same place. That way when someone needs a patch, the error could even say "You can download the latest patch from _____ URL". Like I said, there's probably some technical reason you don't want to do this, but if you just haven't thought of it it might be handy.

I was def a baby when EQ was released originally so I don’t know what the 10% healing penalty is - if it is essentially all healing coming from non-clerics is 10% reduced on identical spells then that is EXCITING for my g99 cleric journey <33
