I have two pairs on blue for monk and sk, and they are overrated. People saying otherwise spent dozens of hours of their time getting / buying them.

It's all convenience because Probes are insta-cast.

beads are really only necessary for raid pulling for monks, you would burn through too many probes in ToV on a quake or crawl to have the bag space for all the probes you would need. Most raiders bags are damn near full as it is with resist gear/item swaps/flowers/pots/clickies/etc.

For the few times you could truly need them...probes are fine.
