Default Jarsath Scale in KC

I've seen suggestions that looting rotting Jarsath Scale is a good, essentially free way to get decent gear for a low-level character, and it sounds like a fun and more adventurous way to gear up. However, i'm not very familiar with KC (haven't been there in about 12 years). Just how difficult is it to get to these rotting pieces? Are the mobs typically pulled to the corners near the entrance, or would I need invis/an escort to get to the rooms where they typically rot?

Tldr; is it feasible to attempt this on a level 5 cleric?

Id wait till you can cast Bind Affinity, then bind in DL at KC in case you die. During busy hours most of the rots will be easy to get to. Youll also want to pick up the bracer from drolvarg warlord while there. Jarsath has race restrictions so make sure your cleric can equip it.

KC is so farmed that most of the time almost ever mob in the zone is down. During those times, you should easily be able to reach rotting jarscrap in the LCY, RCY, Hands, or even the basement!

You'll never know if don't try.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I guess it would be safer to wait until 14... Probably bound to die at least once no matter how careful I am.

I guess you could just ask someone else to bind you? Instead of waiting till 14.

But yeah, for the most part Jarsath rots ALL the time. You could probably spend one night there and get almost all the pieces.

It only takes an unlucky respawn as you're running by to get pummeled into the ground. Rezzed someone last night who was still bound in FoB.

Nope. There used to be a ruins outside you could bind at but I don't know which one it was, if it was classic, or if that page in the wiki still exists... had a place detailing bindable spots in open zones.

Can't find anything on it at the wiki... apparently there is a melee bind in frontier mountains though.

No mention of the windmill bind in loio either; is this not on the server either (I know wiki can sometimes be incomplete/incorrect)?

Have a way to Lev, Invise, IVU and you will be fine. Ive gotten full sets on level 1 toons. Its best to try this when its really busy because then most camps you can get to will be cleared.
