Default How can I copy UI settings between toons?

How can I copy UI settings between toons? I tried looking for the UI_toonname.ini file but to no avail... any suggestions?

UI_TOONNAME_project1999.ini should be in the base EQ folder. Copy it to a new folder, rename the file to match the new character, paste it back into the EQ folder.

There are no files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\" that even begin with "UI". Perhaps they are elsewhere in Win7 or perhaps they are elsewhere because I'm using a 64-bit OS?

I'm on 64bit too, they're in the main folder.

All the advice I have recieved has thus far been suboptimal. Thanks for all the hard work though.

For the record the proper path is as follows:

[drive]:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\

The files are only stored in that directory if you don't install and run EverQuest as an administrator, or disable UAC.

You should remove your EQ folder out of program files. Cause you are going to have the same issue when you want to change something in the eqclient.ini file. Best place to install EQ is the C:\ folder.

Copy the contents of the character's UI file into defaults.ini

Now every character you sign into for the first time will copy from that default.
