What do you do in your personal life to change your situation personally? Do you work out regularly to maintain a healthy body? Do you subject yourself to material that is challenging to comprehend/accept to maintain a healthy mind? Do you challenge yourself to stop making excuses for yourself and start taking action in your own life to maintain a healthy spirit?

Voting is whatever. None of us can change objective reality. The daffier of us deny objective reality even exists at all. So what do you do to positively change your own subjective reality?

Are you waiting for the government to pass some magical laws that are going to make you feel satisfied with yourself and everyone else you share this plane with?
