Help a returning player with video settings, crashing, UI issues, etc.

As I run into issues I'll post more. So far there's a lot of random crashing that seems to be related with video settings. Trying to play full screen, though it would be kinda cool if i could alt-tab around without game crashing too.

Couldn't figure out how to screenshot this without a print screen key, as when I go to use the snip tool of whatever it is things obviously don't look like this. EQ up there in top left corner. What's this about???
