Level restriction on weapons for charmed pets

Do level restrictions on weapons apply for charmed pets, as well? For example, would a pet have to be level 50 to be able to proc a Club of the Ice Ocean?

No a charmed pet can use any class weapon

Additionally, weapon type doesn't matter for pet abilities. For example, a rogue pet can backstab with any weapon type equipped, even a 2h.

Weapon won't proc unless the pet who equipped it is of high enough level to proc it.
