Pinyl, Returning from Ages Past
Hello out there!!
Half-baked veteran player here. Dropped out of EQ1 just before the Ykesha expansion and playable froglok's came out. Getting back into the game after so many years is just like learning it from scratch again!! I'm remaking an old Teir'Dal Warrior of mine from long ago, named Pinyl. She'll be bumping around Nektulos with her starter short sword and cloth armor scavenged from decaying skeletons. Say hi if you see me, and let me know if there's anything especially important I should know before I go about grinding up a new character in what will probably be the most daft and ignorant manner conceivable!! The wiki helped me out a lot but it's a double edged sword. On one side it can help you avoid common pitfalls and give you some direction to success but one can easily pigeonhole themselves into only being satisfied by 1% of the game.
Considering almost everyone in the game who is at a respectable level is probably familiar with our wonderful wiki, you could keep your hands clean by just buzzing in /ooc and get just as good advice along with that mmo word of mouth experience. Truly, fuck up your class all you want and have fun. No matter how far ahead or behind the curve you will find camps or hunting grounds where you'll be on your game and grind it for what it's worth. It will truly difficult to back yourself in an unplayable affair. Me and my wife had a fun experience. We made it about level 20 but not sure when we'll pick back up. There's riches and buffs and good advice to go around! | ||
