Thumbs up It's been 10 years....

Finally - to be back in Norrath!

I played starting with Ruins of Kunark. When Shadows of Luclin came out, that was the beginning of the end for me. While I actually liked the concept and playing on Luclin, I didn't enjoy seeing an empty East Commonlands tunnel. The tenor of the game changed greatly.

I tried coming back when The Serpent's Spine came out. The game just wasn't the same for me.

When I heard about Project 1999, I had to jump on it. Got everything installed, and...I was back! My eyes actually teared up slightly when my character appeared in Freeport. I re-rolled my favorite - my Human Magician - and set myself to re-learning how to play the game (and how to arrange the UI).

I want to thank the Project 1999 team for bringing back Classic EverQuest. I was really bummed when City of Heroes went dark. I've been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic, and while that has it's charms, nothing is quite like the original EverQuest.

Thank you, thank you, thank you....
