The difference between trump people and normal people is we can say "criminals should be punished if convicted or admits guilt."
You'd say "trump has never done anything wrong, illegal, or immoral. If he did, that guy did worse. If he did it twice, its ok, not a big deal. What are you, Magnum PI?." If found guilty, you'd say the judge was "biased" or "he had it out for trump. Hes a democrat. He hates trump." or something to that effect.

You cant charge a sitting president... You can impeach, but republicans said no evidence is allowed in the impeachment, last time. Only once removed can you charge a former president.
You ever heard of Cy Vance, the Manhattan DA? You might want to google "trump cy vance" and prepare to be let down.

Oh and one last thing. You might want to read this.
In testimony before Congress, Mueller was asked by Republican Rep. Ken Buck of Colorado, "Could you charge the President with a crime after he left office?" "Yes," Mueller replied. "You believe that he committed -- you could charge the President of the United States with obstruction of justice after he left office?" Buck asked. Mueller answered: "Yes." This too. https://www.bloomberg.com/features/2...legal-threats/ Oh I know, its all fake news til it aint.

Why would they bother going through with an arduous impeachment song and dance knowing that there's no possible way to remove him? Why not just wait until he's out of office then bring charges if they already know that's the only way it will mean anything? Occam's razor man, use it.
