Creature mana pool

Heya,

I would like to ask two questions about creatures mana pool/regen :

1/ Is there a way to know how much mana does a creature have based on its level ?

2/ The mob mana regen is faster than player's one, right ? does anyone know how much mana per tick can a mob regen ?

Without having the hands in the code, it might be hard to answer I guess but I'd like to have an idea if anyone knows.

1. No.
2. Yes, and No.

Someone who's been into the code might be able to answer better.

Best way to find out, steal all their mana and count to 60 cast it again and see how much mana you get back after 1 min.

Creatures regenerate very fast while not engaged. While engaged most creatures regenerate quite slowly and i think this is the same with mana.

Typakk, for that I must have a chanter with theft of thoughts, right ?

Pyrion, yes mobs regenerate HP faster while not engaged but we don't know if it's the same for the mana.

I could look into EQemu code but I'm not even sure than it's the same code used there.

You get the full mana from theft of thought whether the mob is oom or not, as long as it has a mana pool.
