Kernel-Power 41 (63) Critical Event - Windows 10 Home - 64 bit
Hello techwise players,
I have been dealing with this critical event that is causing my computer to restart (no BSoD) randomly while I am playing Eq and other games. I've researched for days now and I was hoping to get some ideas. I've changed my power settings as online guides/videos show. I've checked and re-installed drivers minus my motherboard BIOS. I'm not the most computer technical person though, so beyond these things I'm not sure what to do. I've downloaded a hardware performance viewer to see voltage, heat and so on and nothing is jumping out as odd from what I can determine. The only time that I've found where I can force this event to happen is when I load StarCraft 2. It loads, gets to the title screen (where you could start a new game) inside the game and then restarts before it finishes loading, every time. If anyone knows how I can fix this or can determine if it is my PSU and not a settings issue, I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks! I had a similar issue a couple years ago. Turned out to be an overheating issue when loading/player games. I had to download a utility for my PSU and change the settings so the fans run at a higher speed.
Not really a tech guy, so I dont know if thats your issue.. But it could be an avenue to check out and at the very least rule it out

Sounds like your power supply is having trouble.

Download software like GPU-Z and HWINFO64 and see if anything looks wrong, especially temperature of different components such as GPU, CPU, memory, etc...
