Default Sound Quality drops when loading from Char Screen -> Server

Hi all,

I've been playing for years now, never thought there was a fix to it, but it's just so annoying I figured I'd ask if anyone has found a solution to this problem.

I have an acer laptop with a nvidia graphics card, and onboard card. When I load from the character select screen into norrath, sound quality loses a ton of bass and becomes much more quiet also. Something triggers upon loading that changes a setting or disables something on my laptop.

Has anyone experienced a problem similar to this, or found a solution?

Thanks[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I have a laptop too and found that there's a problem in the mix of sounds : the environmental sounds (thunder, rain, bags opening) are much louder that the "usual" sounds (footsteps, combat sounds). Using the laptop volume adjustment doesn't fix the balance.
