Personally I'm not impressed with "first" type messages as they generally just reward people for racing through content via foreknowledge, exploits, luck, or just sacrificing RL. I'm not saying don't have them, I'm sure others would enjoy it, but I hope people suggest non-first achievements as well.

That said, if you add non-trivial custom quests/items, a first message would be neat for those, since it isn't just a paint-by-number zergercise and would really be a first achievement. Only on Blue I'd imagine, but still...

As an NTTR player it would be neat to have achievements for not dying, though that doesn't seem as simple as log parsing without some stored state. E.g. for getting to 20, 30, etc. without dying.

Longest stint without eating/drinking.

Most HPs healed in one cast (0% CH ftw) caster/castee.

Most money spent at a vendor.

Largest single sum destroyed.

Most items given away (nothing in return).

Most misses in a row.

Most consecutive mobs killed via Bash/Slam only.

Most consecutive fizzles.

and of course

Highest gems score.

A reverse achievement for anyone involved in waking the Sleeper. Have their guild dissolved, their accounts banned, and their names black listed on the forums and the server. There shall be no glory in being the ultimate server assholes.

I think it would be cool to give custom titles to some of the more notable firsts. That way you could get some OG status even if you don't get one of the limited time items, which would really be the only other way to show that off.
