The reason you don't have an epic is probably because you behave like a jerk and demand it everytime you log in. Also buffs at the EC tunnel in /shout 5 times per second.

Open eartthplane 2.0 make people zone into the hole to go there, and make the mage earth staff a 2x rarer drop down there from a sontalak lvl merb, remove mage staff epic from hate, gg, custom content for u to get ur mage epic

everyone now has an equal and fair chance at their mage epic, problem solved, gg lol

The Magi's job is to shuffle the minions of hate around the elemental planes, so I guess he is a "Gatekeeper" of sorts [You must be logged in to view images. Dunno about inny himself, maybe he just delegates this to his Magi when he gets Velious geared.
