Default playing 99 and live

When you download the stuff for the emu server it requires you to put in a different login server... does this prevent you from playing on the live server indefinitely?

Is there a way to play on the 1999 server and on the live server on the same computer?

Sure, just install the Titanium install somewhere different than the Live install and make sure the icons point to the right install ...

keep your EMU install in a separate directory, and never patch it.

you cannot play live with your emu copy, and you cannot play emu with your live copy.

When you install Titanium for '99 - do a 'custom install' and change the name of the 'Everquest' folder to something else, like 'Everquest99'.

When you're installing Titanium for project1999, and it asks you where you want to install it, choose something like C:\Program Files\EverQuest\Project1999.

Whatever changes you do, make sure you are in that folder when you make them.

Then, after it is installed:

-Navigate to example C:\Program Files\EverQuest\Project1999
-Right click on eqgame.exe
-Send to Desktop (Create shortcut)
-Right click on that shortcut, select properties.
-In the Target box, modify it to read "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\Project1999" patchme
(The patchme indicates that it shouldn't sync up with live)
-Click ok
-Run project1999 from this new shortcut, and it shouldn't interfere with your already installed eq.

What Simp said...

But the 'ISO' files are 'virtual CD's' and the other package you need to install; Daemon Tools is a 'virtual CD-Rom drive'.
