Never heard of these being sold, took me about a year of raiding sky every week to get mine. Good luck though.

Yep, there are one or two posts here where guilds were trying to sell them in the 20'ish minutes before rot. I raided there in Sky since 2012 but as my monk was an alt, never had the stars align for him.

that thing is pretty rare to begin with and I don't think eov is single pulled down to island 1 much anyone post sneak nerf.

It is certainly rare, yes. You can corpse pull someone from isle 2 to 7.

I've heard first hand of a recent instance where a guild almost had one rot, and considered auctioning it for a few minutes to find a potential buyer, so I'm just getting out in front of another one of those situations. =)
