There were challenges like that before the official servers. I think it was called like “console view” and it was 3rd person but zoomed way in

Constantly having mobs you can’t see path into you sounds like a PITA

But that wasn’t nearly as bad as the challenges got. Some were “warrior with no armor”, “1 hp challenge” (I think only doable on mage, not sure if anyone got to 60 with it. You’d have to level by getting exploration exp only up to a certain point), crazy shit like that

It's not that bad. I've pulled. Healed. Split. CC'd Lower guk as a cleric and paladin in first person. Solb and all of sola. Skyshrine. And ToFS. And chunks of karnors and CoM. Befallen and Najena.

All never leaving 1st person. Before I even knew how to utilize the other cameras.

it sucks to see the inside of ur mouth and eyes and face in 1st person when u melee so i do spend a lot of time tapping the Z key

I utilize all views I am not dependent on 3rd person like a zmoothiebrain

I love 3rd person for travelling and seeing around corners, but during combat I often accidentally target myself just by clicking too near my hitbox or whatever. Normally in 1st person you can't mouse-click-target yourself unless you click your name in the little hp window. In 3rd person it's very easy to do by accident. And tab targeting takes too long if there's a bunch of shit around.
