Default Let's talk about wyverns

Let's all take a moment to discuss the wyverns in ToV. Please see the diagram below:

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The red (RED) arrow, along with the accompanying red (RED) circle, highlights the area where the wyverns are hiding. You cannot see them, but they can see you. Spooky.

The yellow (YELLOW) arrow points to the door leading to the north wing from the central hub. You'll notice that the yellow arrow points to the RIGHT side of this door. You will want to hug this right-hand wall while passing through the door. This gives you the best possible chance to pass through successfully without aggroing the wyverns.

The green (GREEN) arrow pinpoints the area where you should STOP, turn the fuck around, and wait to see if you've aggroed the wyverns before you proceed. You'll notice that this area is not in line of sight of the door leading to Eashen. That's because you don't want to train the wyverns on other people who may be COTHing and/or fighting in that area. If you've aggroed the wyverns, just stand perfectly still and die at the green arrow. Someone will be along shortly to drag and rez you.

It is our sincerest hope that this post has been helpful in educating you on how not to train wyverns. Please feel free to sticky this in your respective guild forums or e-mail it to your friends.

Sincerely,

The rest of us

You came here for classic EQ. Trains are classic. Love it or leave it.

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.

Do I turn a full 360? or 180 when I check for wyverns?

except if you stopped at the tip of the green arrow, half the wyverns would path around the long way and aggro whoever's at the tail of the green arrow.

OP seems to confuse a lack of knowledge with a lack of interest.

My sympathies, must be harsh.
