Can Paladins tank raids at 46+?

I understand that Warriors make better tanks because of their mitigation and damage output with crits/dual/double, but I was wondering if Paladins (or SK's) can fill the spot as a main tank for a raidforce fight in the absence of a good Warrior. I know they can hold aggro with taunt/bash/stuns. Are they too squishy?

They're better than warriors in most situations when the warriors defensive disc is down. However, they are going to struggle on some boss mobs without defensive. Some are doable, but you'll need extra healers to compensate.
