Default Issue with using Duxas UI on Red69

I know this is P99 tech forum but if someone could point me in the right direction, I can do the legwork myself. Basically my spell gems are all fubar and I need to fix them. I cant even use the default, default_old or Velious UI because after using Duxas installer, its messed up those spell icons as well. Id prefer to stick with Duxas if possible. pic for reference.

Thanks again. Any input is helpful

Project 1999 uses its own spell icon sets and spells_us.txt spellfile. Copy them back from a default install to fix it.

Remember that several UI elements have been disabled on Project 1999 to make it more classic - both mine and Duxa (which uses some of my elements) have been modified for these changes and may work differently on a different server.

ok so i tried this, it reverts it back which is great but now the problem is that some of the spells on this server are usable at different levels and im unable to use them. so back to square one.

i have to update the spells_us file to play here but it bugs out all the gems.

To be honest the best thing is to have separate installs for each server you play on, its just easier with the different setups.

There is also a program here that lets you auto update the settings as you choose the server ( sorry I forget the link/name but its around here someplace) - http://moestaverne.com/eqemulauncher122.zip

Basically what Savok said is spot on. UI's posted in these forums were custom made for P99 and could (and if most cases will) have issues when used on other servers.
