I read a really interesting (and humorous) perspective on BMI.

Instead of saying "by BMI I am overweight", instead say "by BMI I am underheight"!

Yesterday I accidentally discovered bierkellers in the UK sell beer in 2 pint steins. Seeing as I was meant to be driving, I had to stay out extra late just to sober up. Which in turn meant drinking too many sugary colas. Dang.

Get a deep fat fryer. Dump a few torn up pieces of bread in it. Fry them until brown. take them out and dump sugar on them. Viola, churros. Also known as a fucking donut.

So I’ve learned that when I’m actively losing weight my face goes bloodless vampire mode or something. Like all the fat goes away and I look real drawn and bony. It comes back super fast when I increase calorie intake with a higher fat proportion.

Any of you young registered dietitians know what’s going on? How do I lose weight without looking like a drug addict?

Yes. It is insecurity. Join the club. It's probably because we don't have super strong attachments towards other attractive people that like us.
