A Shining Stone and Shadow Men drop rates by zone

Do the Shadow Men have different drop rates depending on their zone?
I've camped them a couple sessions in SK and haven't seen a Shining Stone. But I've seen plenty of Gloves. The wiki suggests the gloves are ultra rare and the stone common but my couple camps would disagree.

Also, those rat bastards seem to have an increased chance for resists on lull/sooth/calm. Anyone else notice that?
