No spiderling eye in Field of Bone

Hello,

I'm trying to farm spiderling eyes to make Wood elves love my Iksar shaman via the quest:

I'm having a hard time farming the eyes. The best spot I have found so far is the Steamfont Mountains, where there are 2 static with a 6:30 respawn. I tried going to Field of Bone, in the spiderling lair, in the hopes that many spiderlings = many spiderling eyes. However, I killed the entire warrens thrice and didn't find a single eye.

Before I go and edit the wiki, has anyone ever found a spiderling eye in Field of Bone?

As a side question: Is there a better place than the 2 statics in Steamfont to farm spiderling eyes?

I did and Wood elf guards are now amiable, but I want to bank and sell too (Kelethin Merchants faction, not raised by killing orcs, but the Slave keys quest does raise it a little)

Oooooh will definitely have to try this one! I have a lot of belts and pads from all the killing.

I wonder if the quest will work, since Linadian is a merchant and will probably con dubious. I'll keep you up to date!

I got my SK Ikky factioned in Neriak and all over Freeport (apart from Guild halls), for my shopping and Banking needs. But I have not yet tried over on Faydwer.

It seemed to me that this particular quest was the easiest, but the spiderling eyes definitely are harder to obtain in great quantity than what I anticipated! So far, I did about 20 turn ins and now have 28 spiderling eyes. Will try reaching 40 and turn everything in, see where the faction goes!

Pretty sure you can get spiderling eyes in Misty Thicket too, but as an Ikky you are going to be pestered by the guards.

Not an easy thing to farm as they are not too common and don't stack.

Weird. I wonder if that's some itemization bug, or if the Kunark spiderlings were actual eye-less on live? Classic research needed [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

There are lots of spiderlings outside the Neriak entrance. Lots of eyes.
