cant see spell particles

For some reason they are not appearing.. has anyone else had this problem? If so, how do you correct it? Tried searching thr web but found nothing.

Do "/showspelleffects on".

Also, you can slide the opacities in display settings to increase how prominent the effects are.

I tried this earlier. No luck

Make sure you have permission and re extract the patch into your eq directory and be sure to overwrite and merge files. You may not have merged which would cause necessary files to not be included.
