Anyone else remember this? I was just thinking about it and thought it would be cool to see it here on p99. I know its highly unlikely but i had a moment of nostalgia thought i would see if anyone else remember it.

I used that extensively! it worked for a long while after they took the code/link down from the website. It was also buggy as hell.

I remember doing /tell furor/tiggles %%#$%#@^&&^$%&#$% <linkdead>. The messenger couldn't convert certain characters to the person in game properly, same with if message was too long. only the receiving end would crash.

EQ IM let you chat with folks in game while you were not logged in.

I used it all the time when they put it out, but it was buggy and they stopped supporting it not long after (a year or so) without any explanation. it eventually stopped working altogether.
